Features
Broken URLs, sorted by real visits
404Guard monitors real Shopify 404 visits, shows where they came from, and creates redirects from the admin.
Real visitor monitoring
Focus on broken pages people actually encounter. A URL with no visitors stays out of the way.
Find lost search traffic
See when Google and other search engines send visitors to missing pages.
Find broken internal links
Identify pages inside your own store that point to missing URLs.
Smart redirect suggestions
Get likely destination suggestions based on your existing Shopify content. The score is a match score, not an AI claim.
One-click Shopify redirects
Create redirects without leaving Shopify Admin. 404Guard writes a real Shopify URL redirect.
Bot filtering
Keep scanners and junk traffic out of your main dashboard. Those hits stay recorded, just hidden by default.
What the admin shows
Overview is the last 30 days by default, with 7 and 90 day ranges. You get 404 visits, broken URLs, issues fixed, and redirects created. The chart is human visits. Bot visits stay available as a count, not as the headline.
The 404 list searches and filters by status, source, date, minimum hits, and bot or human traffic. Sort by visits, newest, recently seen, oldest, or path. Bulk actions are ignore, mark resolved, and delete. Redirects are never created in bulk, because every destination has to be confirmed.
What it will not become
There is no keyword research, rank tracking, title editor, image optimizer, or store crawler. The questions the app answers are which broken pages customers hit, how often, from where, where they should go, and whether that is done.
