Uninstall

Uninstall 404Guard from Shopify Admin like any other app. Shopify notifies 404Guard. The shop is marked inactive, the access token is removed, and new 404 events are rejected.

What remains

• The theme embed stops with the app. You do not have leftover Liquid edits to revert.
• URL redirects already created in Shopify stay there. They are Shopify redirects, not data that disappears with the app. Delete them under Online Store, Navigation, URL redirects, or from 404Guard before you uninstall.
• A later shop data deletion request removes that store's 404Guard rows: history, settings, and the shop record.

404Guard does not store customer identities, so a customer data request has no customer profile to erase. See the privacy policy for what is stored.
